OSHA 30 Hour Training Course - Construction Version

The OSHA 30 hour training course in construction is designed to help foremen, supervisors, superintendents, competent persons, safety staff, safety committee members, and others with responsibility for workplace safety get up to speed on the basic OSHA health and safety regulations for their workplace. The OSHA 30 hour construction training course also provides students with an overview of how the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) functions.

 

The OSHA 30 hour training course for construction is based on the OSHA 1926 construction regulations, and each student will receive their own copy of these OSHA construction standards as part of their course materials. This OSHA 30 training course is intended for operations such as demolition jobs, new construction projects, and major renovation work.

 

The OSHA 30 hour training course in construction standards was created by OSHA, who has authorized OSHA Outreach trainers to conduct this 30-hour construction training class for a group of trainees. The OSHA 30 training courses for construction is presented in a classroom setting (usually spread over four consecutive days), or individual trainees can take an online OSHA 30 hour construction training course.


When a student successfully completes an OSHA 30 hour construction training course, they will receive the official OSHA 30 hour construction course wallet card. The cards are accepted in all 50 states.
